It is with great pride that we announce the premiere of “Swan Song” this weekend at TIFF. Rarely are we able to take a look behind the curtain of what it takes to bring the magic of ballet to the stage. It requires a great amount of passion, strength, and perseverance. It is a process that challenges us physically and mentally but also a process that we cherish. We are so excited to see this story be told and it is a great honour for us to have taken part in it. Congratulations to some of our junior dancers for participating! We have been told that our dancers appear in both the film version as well as the series as the credits roll. We can’t wait to see you shine!

Swan Song, a new feature documentary following the creation of Karen Kain’s farewell production of Swan Lake, premieres September 9th @tiff_net net at 2pm. Additionally screens Monday September 11th 8:30pm at TIFF Bell Lightbox Cinema 3 and Friday September 15th 1:00 pm at Scotiabank Cinema 1. The film will open in theatres across Canada, starting with @tiff_net Bell Lightbox on September 29th. And an expanded four-part limited series will premiere on @cbc this November.
